We are currently looking for a Team Leader in Kitchen Sales team to join our IKEA India.

Overview of the role

To optimise the IKEA shopping experience in your shop and store to secure satisfied customers and increase sales. You do this by motivating and inspiring your department team using knowledge of the IKEA product range and services, the local market and IKEA customers. You use IKEA tools and the expertise of your team and colleagues to support you


- Your work base will be the shop floor where you lead by example every day, supporting, challenging and coaching co-workers.
- You take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent shape as new and fully stocked, with 5 basic merchandising techniques in place (Priced, Well stocked, clean and available)
- Together with all stakeholder, you take responsibility for your department goals and  ensure your action plan is in place and communicated clearly to the team
-  You are proactive in finding opportunities in the function and immediately acting on them to maximize sales through understanding customer and local market and keeping an eye on competition.

Essential Requirements

Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

The right attitude and behavior and to sell actively and help customers to buy
- Understanding of customer behavior and expectations   
- Passion for selling, reaching your goals and getting the best for IKEA customers
- Range presentation
- Ability to make things happen by championing flexibility, speed and simplicity
- Good Communication skills with customers and Co-workers, managing them in friendly and engaged manner.  
- Interested in Home Furnishing business

Desirable Requirements

- Previous experience in sales and training in Moduler kitchen retail can be an advantage
