Support  the  availability  to the  final  customer  at  lowest  possible  total  cost,  by  being  a competent and pro-active partner contributing to an excellent store delivery process in a changing environment.
Being the interface to other stakeholders in the Supply Chain related to the operational store delivery process, both order flow & physical flow and at the same time adding value by providing solutions and coordinating unexpected situations with a pragmatic approach.

·      Be the main entry point toward DS Operations for the Supply team and Retail Logistics regarding all operational order & delivery matters
·      Coordinate within DS all service level related issues and initiate and drive necessary actions to improve goods availability, mainly:
▪  Accelerate, modify and reduce booked orders
▪  Coordinate orders and deliveries for initial fill-up of new stores, new distribution units, activities, news and outgoing rounds together with Retail Logistic and Supply Team
▪  Coordinate the execution of clearings
▪  Verify formally and initiate the execution of store returns for concerned DS Area.
▪   Evaluation of DC to STO/CDC and act on deviations; Lead-time Maintenance, Receiving Lead time
▪  Monitor and execute the prioritization of containers and shipments according the criteria of the Supply team.

  • Support the local peak planning process according to local constraints and in alignment with the MSI (manage supply imbalance) planning group.

·      Be the main driver within the process of the GSP Local Appendix for the DCG (based on the agreements within the Global Service Protocol)
·     Actively contribute to the development of the ways of working, working methods and giving
input to system development within the Supply Chain
·     Coordinate within DS the decided global scrapping of goods

  •  Handling and validate no-pick requests. Maintain and communicate the standardized

Exception List on picking according to the working method.
·       contribute to the achievement of goals agreed in GSP and Local Appendix
·       Accuracy of the execution on activities, peak periods, fill-up for new store openings/rebuilds
·       Secure no old discontinued stock according to scrap routine (based on Supply Team input)
·       University degree or equivalent working experience within supply chain
·       1-2 years experience from the IKEA supply chain
·       Fluent in English, both written and spoken and preferably the local language
·       Proven Computer skills (MS Office)
·       Ability to act proactively and be able to find new solutions and solve problems in conjunction with IKEA’s values.
·       Analytical and result oriented
·       Dynamic, action oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
·       Good in communication across all levels and ability to build trustful relations and commitments
·       Always having the customer and cost in focus
