ABOUT THE JOB
The project manager is responsible to lead and manage people and projects within IKEA. The projects are assigned by an Orderer, the project manager reports to the project steering group and deliver the result to one or many receiving organizations – all within agreed scope, time, budget and with expected quality.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:

  • Plan and structure project according to set IKEA project methodology (PPS).
  • Monitor and control project work, including managing the dependencies and interfaces within the project and between project- and line organisation.
  • Define and control the project scope, create a project time-schedule including follow up on progress and also budget, forecast and control the actual project costs.
  • Create a communication plan that secures the right information is communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Organize, lead and manage people from different units and cultures
  • Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks
  • Perform quality management according to requirements and expectations
  • Manage and control procurement of resources and services with support from internal purchasing organisation
  • Assure receiving organisations are prepared through organizational change management like securing sponsorship, building the relevant and needed relations. Work as a business partner

YOUR PROFILE 
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

  • Knowledge in project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication, procurement and how to integrate these processes
  • Knowledge in managing and leading teams
  • Knowledge in change management methods and tools
  • Great leadership capability including high commitment high commitment to business goals by delivering results and make things happen
  • Good communication capability
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate
  • Analytical, structured and organized
  • Firm, proactive and fact based decision maker with the ability to delegate and escalate
